June 8 Update
By Bud | June 8, 2008
Thanks to all the text messages, emails and Xbox arriving via Broken Arrow Hockey of the Tulsa Youth Hockey Association, Peter is in real good spirits especially now that he has his Xbox. In fact he is in his room playing a game with his good friend Wes Moody. Just amazing that you can get on a game on the internet and be talking to your friends back in Tulsa while playing a game as a team. It is obvious that the communities of Broken Arrow, the Tulsa Metro area, all my friends and associates across the country and all my American National family across the country are now on our team to overcome this occurrence. The prayers and communication across the country are in itself miraculous. Many prayers have been answered and there are little miracles happening.
One of Peter’s classmates from BA, Emalie Hoar, came by to see him Friday and that made his day. Thanks to Emalie. Another answered prayer came from a long time friend of our family. She now lives here in Denver and is going to assist Peter in his recovery. She is truly going to be a very important part of Peter’s recovery. I am very excited about the help she is going to provide. Tomorrow starts a very long journey. Four hours of physical therapy, occupational therapy and educational classes begin. Peter will be busy, but that is what we need to get him on the road to recovery.
Keep him in your prayers as he starts this new journey in his life.
God bless all of you.
