Janet’s July 29 Update
By Janet | July 29, 2008
Janet’s Report….
Also, Peter was moved to a double bed to get him used to the transition for home. Peter (and Bud) are fighting the battle of little sleep as they are now on their own without nursing help during the night. Peter has to turn himself every 3 or 4 hours plus the catheterization every 4-5 hours. (Somewhere down the line the two times should reduce down to the same time). Currently the timer is going off several times a night as Peter makes this switch to managing his own care. Checking Peter’s skin is a huge concern as we don’t want any skin ulcers to develop that would curtain his therapy. Peter starts his therapy each day at 0800 and goes strong all day long.
