Just Finished Pool Therapy

I was not going to send out an email until tomorrow night, but we just finished a great session in the pool. The pool physical therapist felt Peter’s right quad enough to grade it a ONE on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best. We will take a ONE. He was also able to lift his right knee about 4 inches upward from a standing position in the pool. We knew something was going to happen today. Last night Peter had a sensation go through his right leg. He said it was like he could feel his whole leg. It lasted just a few seconds, but I know he did have that feeling.
One of our goals was to have some sensation by Friday. The sensation came and went away, but we know now, since we have been in the pool, that it will come back for good someday. I know that God gave us this message that the sensation of his lower body will return. We must be patient and keep the faith.
He will walk again
