As of today it has been nine months since the accident. Today marks a new era in Peter’s recovery. Today at OU Med Center he will start using his leg braces. We are very excited and feel that the braces will be very beneficial in his recovery. We ask for your prayers that the braces will be a stepping stone in his full recovery.
The last couple of weeks have shown some amazing things. His crawling front and backwards has improved along with his knee walking. Last Tuesday he knee walked 160 feet and at OU on Friday he walked on the walker, with the assistance of his therapist supporting his knees, about 100 feet. The last week he has been having some sensation in the hip area. The sensation he feels comes and go’s. One day he thinks he is feeling something and the next day there is nothing there. At this point any sensation is good. In the pool he is able to move his legs with the treadmill and last Thursday he was able to go for eight minutes without stopping. He is able to complete eight minutes forward, eight minutes backward and five minutes sidestepping to his right and left. He then finishes his session walking for two minutes. He does seem to be getting stronger and his therapist are very encouraged by his improvement.

We are looking for some one to help us take him to therapy. If any of you know of someone that needs a part time job, let us know.
We praise God for all that has been provided for us and thank all of you for your prayers and ask you to continue the prayers. We know that the prayers are working and that it is only a matter of time before………
He will walk again.
